Two crews from Lubbock Power and Light will lend a hand to victims of Hurricane Rita.
The crews left Lubbock Tuesday morning, on their way to Kirbyville, just Northeast of Beaumont. They'll help restore power to homes still doing without. The trip is expected to take up to two weeks.
Seven workers from Bailey County Electric Co-Op are also in Kirbyville. They are scheduled to return home Friday.
