Local Republican Leader Jane Ann Stinnett Dies - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A friend of the Bush's and a long time Republican leader here in Lubbock has died.

Jane Ann Stinnett died Tuesday at age 72. Stinnett was instrumental in making the Republican party dominant here in Lubbock. She served as the regional chairman for former President George Bush during his 1992 campaign. She also served on the Lubbock County Hospital board and the Market Lubbock Inc. Board of Directors.
