Eveline Hallgren has trouble reading the fine print on medicine bottles, menus, and the want ads in the newspaper. "I like to scan the want ads for a friend for my dog. My dog is a Shiatsu, and she is a snot!" Eveline said. "She wants a pure bred friend."
Eveline says she is tired of using her bulky magnifying glass to read. She e-mailed me asking to test The Owl. It is supposedly this amazing credit card sized light and magnifier. It costs us $10, but Does It Work?
"That's pretty neat," said Eveline as I handed her the product. It has a small light on the backside that turns on when you press the bottom of it. Eveline used it to read.
"It's real blurry. I don't think I can read that," she said after trying to use it multiple times.
The Owl appeared to be not as clear as the Eveline's regular magnifier. "You can see it but not good enough," she said.
Eveline knew the minute she looked through The Owl, she would not spend her money.
As for the friend for her pooch, she will have to keep looking through her bulky magnifier, because she says The Owl Doesn't Work!
