Central Lubbock Fire Station Could Soon Be Rebuilt - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Central Lubbock Residents can look forward to a new fire station. This morning the Lubbock City Council will consider a resolution for the construction of a new fire station to replace fire station number eight at 2120 50th Street.

The station could soon be torn down and rebuilt. Fire officials tell us the building is too small to house fire trucks. Demolition is could begin in just a few weeks. Thousands of Central Lubbock Residents depend on fire station number eight.
