Crosswalk Approved Near Cooper North Elementary - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The walk to school will soon be a safer one for Cooper North Elementary students. The Citizen's Traffic Commission originally denied a request for a crosswalk at 108th and Gary. The denial came after a study found only an average of six students were crossing at that area.

Then on Tuesday, Cooper North parents appealed that decision and the crosswalk was approved.
