She took her grandmother's car without asking and led Lubbock police on a high speed chase while trying to return it.
It all began around 1 a.m. when police tried to pull over a white Cadillac without tail lights at 19th and Avenue-P. Police say, 20-year-old Rebecca Dawn Scoggins fled., leading officers on a 30-minute chase across the city at speeds up to 90-miles per hour. Police finally stopped the car on North Tulip."
Scoggins is charged with aggravated assault, evading arrest, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and reckless driving.
