Estacado High Improves Accountability Rating - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Estacado High School is cheering for academics.

The Matadors held a pep rally Friday to cheer their accountability rating. The Texas Education Agency ranked Estacado unacceptable based on TAKS scores. Estacado appealed that rating, saying they've made vast improvements. The state agreed and upgraded the rating to acceptable.

The state also changed Arnett Elementary's acceptable rating to recognized.
