Free Gun Locks Available

Guns can be found in 40 percent of all American households with children. Every eight hours a child is killed or injured by a firearm.

Project Child Safe is distributing free gun locks to parents. The locks will prevent a gun from firing if a child handles it. You can get your free locks this weekend at Big Five at 56th and Slide. Locks will be available from 11:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
