Fire billowing from the windows, that is what Lubbock Firefighters saw when they arrived at a home in East Lubbock Sunday evening.
Firefighters responded to a fire at a home in the 2700 block of East Colgate just before 7:30pm. Firefighters quickly put out the blaze, but not before the home sustained fire and smoke damage. No one was injured in the fire. Fire officials say it looks like some kids playing in a back room accidentally started the fire. The Fire Marshall's Office is investigating.
