Texas Attorney General Charges Former Lubbock Nurse

Officers with the Texas Attorney General's office arrested a Lubbock certified nurse aid, and charged her with two counts of assault.

26-year-old Tiffany Cunningham was arrested in Brownfield on Thursday. She is accused of striking two Alzheimer's residents in January, while employed at Bender Terrace Nursing Home, here in Lubbock.

The two charges are third degree felonies. They carry a possible 10-year prison sentence and maximum $10,000 fine.
