Children Suspected Of Causing East Lubbock House Fire

Investigators are looking into the cause of a house fire in East Lubbock.

Firefighters responded to a home in the 2700 Block of East Colgate just before 7:30pm Sunday night. Investigators believe bedding materials caught fire as two children played with matches.

The home sustained fire to a back bedroom and smoke damage. Fortunately, no one was injured in the blaze.
