UBS Hopes To Attract Donors With Cruise Giveaway

More than a hundred life saving transfusions are made at Lubbock hospitals each day, and that is why your donations are so important.

This week, United Blood Services is holding a "Cruisin' For Donors" blood drive. Now through Saturday, all donors will receive a T-shirt, and be registered to win a four-day, three-night Carnival cruise for two.

UBS will accept donations from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Just stop by the center at 48th and University, or call (806) 741-1600 to make an appointment.

Blood Donation Questions and Answers
"Giving the Gift of Life" is quick, easy, and relatively painless. Here are the answers to some questions donors often ask.
