New developments in the suspension of a Texas Tech fraternity. Texas Tech University tells us "hazing" may be the reason.
Michael Gunn, Director of Student Organizations, received an e-mail from the Kappa Alpha Alumni advisor Tuesday. It stated there may have been an incident of hazing at the KA house earlier this month. That national organization continues to investigate and Texas Tech may start its own investigation.
As we told you last week, the fraternity is no longer allowed to participate in meetings or social events. Since that time, members have been put on alumni status which means they cannot associate with Kappa Alpha until they graduate.
