Woman Admits To Defrauding Lubbock Dealership

A Lubbock woman defrauded Frank Brown Auto and Truck Ranch out of nearly $700,000.

Mary Ann Urdiales pleaded guilty to mail fraud in federal court Tuesday. Urdiales admitted to using mail, wire and bank fraud schemes to defraud Frank Brown while she was working in accounts receivable from January 1998 through 2005. During those seven years, Urdiales says she diverted funds for her personal use, mailed forged Frank Brown checks to pay her credit cards and took cash from several departments.

Urdiales now faces up to 20 years in prison.
