Thirty-Five LISD Schools Recognized

Lubbock I.S.D. is getting 35 gold stars for a gold performance. L.I.S.D. recognized 35 of its campuses at the Science Spectrum Wednesday. The Texas Education Agency recognized the schools for their performance in a number of areas including readings, writing, math and science. Other indicators included attendance and a high percentage of graduates.

The Gold Performance Acknowledgements went to the following secondary campuses: Estacado, Evans, Hutchinson, Irons, Mackenzie, and Wilson. The elementary GPA schools are Alderson, Arnett, Bean, Bowie, Dupre, Guadalupe, Hardwick, Harwell, Haynes, Honey, Iles, Maedgen, McWhorter, Murfee, Overton, Ramirez, Rush, Smith, Stewart, Tubbs, Waters, Wester, Wheatley, Wheelock, Whiteside, Williams, Wilson, Wolffarth and Wright.
