DeLay Expected In Austin Court Thursday - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The "delay" in Congressman Tom DeLay's case should be settled by Thursday.

The case was delayed last week when the defense asked for a new judge. Thursday, a hearing will be held in Austin on whether the judge assigned is bias.

DeLay is charged with conspiracy and money laundering related to campaign contributions. DeLay says he is innocent of those charges but now is admitting that he did not disclose all contribution made to the fund that helped pay his legal bills. Wednesday night he told House officials that he underreported $21,000 in 2000 and 2001.
