Arson Suspected In Central Lubbock House Fire

Investigators are now calling Tuesday night's central Lubbock fire arson.

The fire started around 8pm in the 2200 Block of 35th Street. The house was vacant and had no utilities, so investigators say the cause could not be accidental. Firefighters battled a fire in the same house a few months ago, but they say that fire was electrical.

If you have any information that could help with this investigation, call the Lubbock Fire Marshal's Office at 775-2646 and ask for Garett Nelson.
