The West Texas Coalition will have two and a half hours to impress the presidential library selection committee.
In 13 days, the coalition will give its presentation in Washington D.C., in an effort to bring the George W. Bush Presidential Library to Lubbock. Right now, the coalition is still finalizing its presentation team, but Coalition Chairman David Miller tells us it will include five people who personally know people on the selection committee. The presentation will be professional yet informal and will include time for discussion.
"It can't just be a feel good decision for them. It's got to be economically, academically and politically sound, and we think we've got most of those fronts if not all covered," said Miller.
Thursday, the Texas Tech Regents watched the presentation video and committed their full support to the effort.
