Grease Sparks Fire In Frito Lay Plant

Grease sparked a fire at an East Lubbock plant Monday morning.

A grease fire spread up into a vent and a smoke stack at the Frito Lay plant around 12:45 Monday morning. Lubbock Police blocked traffic from 32nd to 34th Street on Avenue A for about an hour. Fire fighters were able to put the fire out without injury.
