Wanted Man Found At Lubbock Salvation Army

A man wanted out of Hall County is now in the custody of Lubbock Police.

Thomas Wayne Carrol was arrested at the Salvation Army around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon. Carrol is accused of assaulting and critically injuring an elderly man in Memphis, which is a town southeast of Amarillo. The elderly man's car was discovered here in Lubbock Monday night, when it was involved in a chase.

A juvenile and a 17-year-old were arrested in that chase and later released information of Carrol's whereabouts. Authorities have been searching for Carrol since October 25th.

Carrol is now in the Lubbock County Jail being held on charges out of Hall County.
