42 Arrested In Hot Check Round Up

For the second time in a month, Lubbock law enforcement went door to door, rounding up accused hot check writers.

Forty-two people were arrested Wednesday night, and taken downtown. Most of them opted to pay their fine right away, but two of them continued on to jail. If you think you may have an outstanding check, don't wait for officers to show up at your door, contact the DA's office to set up a payment plan.
