Arismendez Announces Candidacy For Lubbock County Clerk - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A former Shallowater Mayor wants to keep records for Lubbock County.

Mike Arismendez announced his candidacy for Lubbock County Clerk Thursday. Governor Rick Perry has appointed Arismendez to two statewide commissions. Arismendez, a Republican, currently serves as assistant to the Lubbock City Council.

"I look forward to serving the people of Lubbock County and producing an office that is business friendly, customer friendly and budget friendly," said Lubbock County Clerk candidate, Mike Arismendez.

The office is currently held by Doris Ruff.
