A man with a gun kept Lubbock police and swat busy Sunday morning. Police were called out to 2114 17th Street around 7 a.m., after reports of shots being fired. When officers arrived a 27-year-old Hector Gonzalez went into the house with a shotgun, but then would not come out. After about 2 and half hours he surrendered with no incident. Gonzalez was charged with discharging a firearm and tampering with evidence. Two other people inside the house were arrested. 32-year-old Jose Jimenez was arrested on outstanding warrants. And woman was taken in for hindering apprehension.
