It took a Lubbock jury two hours to find a man guilty of failure to stop and render aid.
Jurors will return to the courtroom Thursday to deliberate a sentence for Ricky Crawford. Crawford was in a wheelchair during the trial. But, jurors concluded he was the man driving the car the night bicyclist Sheila Austin was hit in 2004. He fled the scene on East 17th street and police tracked him down by a broken windshield wiper. Austin died just days after the crash.
