Major Fire In East Lubbock Sparked By Wood Pallets - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Black smoke and bright orange flames shot through the East Lubbock County skyline Thursday afternoon.

NewsChannel 11 caught that plume of smoke and flames on our Tower Cam, just after 3:30. That smoke took fire fighters to SouthEast Drive and Slaton Highway. A stack of wood pallets caught fire at Continental Pallet Company. Fire fighters were able to get the fire under control within thirty minutes. The cause is still under investigation.
