Lovato Arraigned On Capital Murder Charge - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Bail is set at $750,000 for a Lubbock man accused of murdering his estranged wife.

Steven Lovato kept his head down, eyes to the floor, as he was walked into Judge Hanson's courtroom for arraignment Friday afternoon.

Lovato is charged with Capital Murder in the kidnapping and fatal stabbing of Michele Lovato. Michele's body was found in a van near 106th and Chicago last Saturday morning. Police say Steven Lovato kidnapped her from her home in the 2900 Block of Fordham hours earlier.
