Salvation Army Warns Of Scam

They're saying they make donations to the Salvation Army, but the Salvation Army of Lubbock is calling it "fraud."

The Salvation Army of Lubbock tells NewsChannel 11 they are being misrepresented by a business called Americans With Disabilities. The organization is accused of making fundraising phone calls on behalf of the Salvation Army but Major Ernest Branscum tells us, all they're getting is light bulbs.

"We are not getting the money and we have not gotten a dime of it. We have noticed what they have collected and we are getting merchandise with highly inflated prices," Major Ernest Branscum said.

Major Branscum says donations are welcome, but you should make them directly to the Salvation Army.
