Judge Grants Change Of Venue In Mallory Civil Trial

The civil trial concerning the death of a Lubbock teenager will be moved to Amarillo.

Thomas Mallory's family is suing eight teenagers and a Lubbock doctor. Mallory died in June after overdosing on Ecstasy. A grand jury declined to indict anyone on criminal charges. Monday, however, Judge John Board agreed to move the civil suit from Lubbock to Amarillo.

A trial date has not been set.
