Lubbock Dancers To Appear In Macy's Parade

Final preparations are underway for a treasured Thanksgiving tradition...the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. This year, you may recognize some familiar faces along the parade route.

Twenty-five dancers from the Dance Gallery in Lubbock will perform in Thursday's parade. The group will join 900 other dancers to form the Mike Miller dance group. It's the second year, the Dance Gallery has been invited to the parade.

"You walk down the parade route, following balloons with the Broadway people and the floats and there's people screaming, all down the street and hanging, out whatever, it's just amazing to actually be there," said dancer Meaghan McNeill.

You can watch the dancers right here on NewsChannel 11, Thursday. The parade begins at nine o'clock in the morning.
