Traffic Moving Again After Cotton Module Truck Catches Fire - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Traffic is moving again in south Lubbock County after coming to a standstill Wednesday night.

DPS Troopers detoured traffic on US 84 and FM 1585 from 4:30pm Wednesday afternoon to just after midnight on Thursday after cotton caught fire in the back of a module truck.

Sparks caused additional grass fires and the slow moving traffic resulted in several collisions. Fortunately, no one was injured.
