The city of Lubbock's financial status is now positive.

Tuesday, Moody's Investors Service revised Lubbock's stable status to positive. Moody's believes the city has made a substational effort to improve financial operations.

The rating is much like a personal credit score and could help the city secure bonds or loans at better rates.
