Overnight Traffic Crash Injures Two - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Two Lubbock drivers are recovering following a collision overnight.

The accident happened around 2am Thursday morning on South Loop 289, just east of University. Witnesses say the driver of the truck was driving east when he crossed the median and was sent airborne. The truck hit a van and flipped, before coming to a rest against a pole.

EMS took both drivers to UMC with minor injuries.
