Truck Gets Stuck Under West Loop - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Either the truck's load was too tall, or the bridge was too short but either way it kept one 18 wheeler from passing through West Loop 289 and 4th Street, Friday afternoon.

A forklift loaded on the bed of an 18-wheeler failed to make clearance at the underpass. That's where the impact knocked the equipment off the trailer. Traffic was backed up as emergency crews worked to clear the debris.

Traffic at that intersection began moving smoothly again before 5pm.
