Charges Dropped Against Juvenile in 7-Eleven Murder Case
A minor who confessed to killing a Lubbock convenience store clerk last year will not stand trial. Earlier this year, three teens confessed to killing Patricia Ann Garcia during the august 3rd robbery of the 7-11 at 19th and Iola.
On Monday NewsChannel 11 learned the case against the youngest defendant, who was 12 at the time of the murder, was dismissed because the child was under duress. That means he didn't act under his own free will.
The other two defendants - Raymon Carl Jackson, and victoria hood Harris are charged with capital murder. A trial date has not been set.
