University of Georgia Regents Meet To Discuss New Chancellor

The University System of Georgia board of regents held a special meeting Tuesday afternoon to discuss a new chancellor.

Texas Tech Chancellor David Smith is one of the three finalists for the position. The others are Dr. Daniel Papp, Senior Vice Chancellor for Academics at the University System of Georgia and Erroll Davis, Chairman of Alliant Energy Corporation in Wisconsin.

No word yet if the board chose a chancellor during Tuesday's meeting.
