Lubbock police didn't have to search long for a suspect who fled the scene of an accident Thursday.

The medical examiner's office removed the bodies of two Lubbock women around 9:30pm. Both were found dead just after 2pm inside a home at 2711 80th Street. The victims were mother and daughter and lived next door to one another. Police are treating both homes as crime scenes.
