Amtryke Donated To Lubbock Boy

Little Daniel Kane has Spina Bifida, a disabling birth defect. At the 50 Yard Line Friday, the Downtown Lubbock Chapter of the American Business Club presented Daniel with his first bike, an Amtryke.

Amtrykes are therapeutic tricycles which can be driven by hand, for kids like Daniel who cannot turn the pedals on a traditional bike. So far, all three Lubbock Ambucs Chapters have given about 50 Amtrykes to area kids with physical disabilities.
