4th Candidate Joins District 83 Race - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

He says it's time for a change and that's why Lubbock businessman John Miller is running for State Representative of District 83.

The district covers Hockley, Cochran, Yoakum and Gaines counties and part of Lubbock county. Miller says, "I truly feel that the Republican Party has let West Texas and the voters out here down."

So far, Miller is the only candidate to run on the democratic ticket. Three republicans have announced their intent to run, including incumbent Delwin Jones, former city councilman Frank Morrison and Lubbock businessman Van Wilson.

The primary election is March 7th.
