Bank to Provide Free Yellow Ribbons

Thursday, the Lubbock City Council will make a proclamation to declare Saturday, "Welcome Home Day." It is the culmination of Yellow Ribbon Week, where Lubbock is welcoming home 120 soldiers.

The Second Battalion of the 142nd infantry has spent the last year in Iraq. Plains Capital Bank on 4th and Quaker is now providing yellow ribbons free of charge.
