Friday Marks "Lights On For Life" Day - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Law enforcement and safety organizations are asking you to turn your headlights on Friday.

Friday is "Lights on for Life" day. It's an effort to remember those who've died in traffic collisions and to remind drivers to buckle up, slow down and avoid alcohol.

"It's about choices, so make the right and wise choice," said DPS Corporal John Gonzalez.

Corporal Gonzalez also reminds us that DPS will be stepping up its patrol throughout the holidays, starting next week.
