Food Bank Prepares Holiday Boxes - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Thousands of South Plains families are benefiting from your generosity this holiday season. Saturday food boxes were passed out at the South Plains Food Bank. The food is from your donations to the U-Can Share Food Drive benefiting families around the South Plains this Winter.

"Now of course we're able to take that food and give it to people in our community who need help this Christmas," said David Weaver, Ex. Director of the South Plains Food Bank.

Volunteers are still needed to help distribute the food boxes. Distribution will be this coming week. To help, call the food bank at 806-763-3003 .
