TX-DOT To Close Several Lanes On Loop - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

TX-DOT is adding new signs to the Marsha Sharp Freeway that will force a few lane closures along the South and West Loop.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane at various locations, beginning at 9:00pm Wednesday night. Then all lanes are scheduled to reopen by 7:00am Thursday morning.

Funding Options to Complete Marsha Sharp Freeway Project Construction on the Marsha Sharp Freeway is still ahead of schedule. But the current plan would mean the orange cones and speed zones don't disappear until the year 2022, but some other options are being considered.
