A Levelland teen is in critical condition after he was shot in broad daylight, then left to die in the middle of a busy highway. Levelland Police are questioning people who may be involved or may know who is involved in this case of attempted murder. NewsChannel 11's Christy Hartin has details from Levelland.

Eighty Lubbock children will not be attending Southwest Private School Tuesday morning. The school, located at 38th and Quaker, caught fire around 4am Monday morning and burned for eight hours. NewsChannel 11 followed this story since the fire started, and Jennifer Vogel found out this isn't the first fire at the school.

Investigators are now trying determine what caused a Lubbock pre-school to catch fire early this morning. About 80 pre-school age students attended the Southwest Private School and, as you can imagine, parents were shocked to find the building on fire.NewsChannel 11's Kealey McIntire has more on what will come of the school.

All morning fire fighters have been battling a fire at a private school in West Central Lubbock. The fire started just before 4 a.m. at Southwest Private School located at 3808 Quaker. Crews responded with three engine trucks initially but called out three more fire trucks to assist. 45 fire fighters remain on the scene trying to put out the fire in the second story portion of the building. NewsChannel 11's Suleika Acosta was on the scene and brings us the latest.
