The Rogers family says if it wasn't for someone finding Summer Baldwin's body, investigators may have never found Rosendo Rodriguez, the man charged with her death. Some closure Wednesday for a Lubbock family who's mother was murdered almost two years ago. Raymon Jackson pleaded guilty to the murder of Patricia Garcia Wednesday in court. It's a capital murder charge, that could have led to the death penalty, but prosecutors agreed to "Capital Life" in prison, and a judge accepted that punishment. NewsChannel 11's Ben Lawson has this story.

Sources tell NewsChannel 11 that Rosendo Rodriguez has confessed to the murder of Joanna Rogers. The Rogers family tells us they want hard evidence before accepting a confession from an accused murderer.
