Disqualification Hearing Adjourns Without Ruling

Rosendo Rodriguez's first connection with missing Lubbock teen Joanna Rogers came up Wednesday during Rodriguez's bond hearing.

Rodriguez is charged with the murder of Summer Baldwin. A city worker found Baldwin's body inside a suitcase in the landfill in September of this year. Rodriguez is requesting a judge lower his bond but a decision isn't expected until January 2006. Meanwhile, authorities and attorneys were back in the court-room Thursday.  A motion has been filed to diqualify Rodriguez's attorney Albert Rodriguez from the case because he may have been in custody of some evidence.  Judge Jim Darnell listened to testimony but adjourned the case until more authorities can be reached for further information.
