The Lubbock Fire Department is now in compliance with the four in-four-out rule.

Bagpipes led a procession of graduates at the Lubbock Fire Training Facility Thursday afternoon. Sixteen firefighters graduated Thursday after completing four weeks of recruiting orientation. All fire fighters are already certified when they are hired. Thursday's graduation means every fire station will have four fire fighters on each piece of equipment which means quicker response time.
