8 Million Americans Expected to Fly Home For Holidays

More than eight million Americans are expected to fly for the holidays.

Long lines and full flights are expected at airports everywhere. Although, so far here at home, travelers say they haven't experienced a long wait at Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport. With clear skies, flights ran on time.

However, you might run into a delay if you violate any security policies. One policy often violated this time of year is traveling with wrapped presents. Remember to bring your gift unwrapped, otherwise, airport security will open them during the screening process.
