51 Million Expected to be Traveling this Holiday Weekend

AAA expects 51 million people, nationwide, will drive to their Christmas destination.

Even so, they say roadways will not be as congested as they were over Thanksgiving. The bad news is you will be paying about 40 cents more a gallon for gas than you did last year at this time. Here in Lubbock gas prices average around $2.12 a gallon. That's still lower than the statewide average of $2.16. So you may want to fill up your tank here.
