DPS Troopers say alochol was involved in a Hockley County accident that killed a Lubbock man this weekend.
Roy Sanchez was thrown out of a Dodge Ram pickup Saturday night. DPS Troopers say the driver went off the road, overcorrected, and then hit a telephone poll. The driver and another passenger picked up Sanchez and then drove him to a house in Lubbock County where they called EMS.
Sanchez was taken to Covenant Medical Center and pronounced dead there. The investigation into the accident continues.
