DPS Troopers Investigate Lamb County Fatal

DPS Troopers are investigating a fatal accident in Lamb County.

Monday morning, an 18-wheeler slammed into a cotton module truck on Highway 385 and County Road 112, about 2 miles South of Springlake Earth.

Troopers believe Warren Jones, who was in the module truck, was trying to turn left on County Road 112 when it was rear-ended by the big rig being driven by Larry Ray of Amarillo.

Ray was pronounced dead at the scene. Jones was taken to the Littlefield Health Center.
